When I amble through urban landscapes I tend to find myself happiest within places of neglect - those areas where the lack of rules frees the mind and steals inhibitions, allowing a good old nose around. I love documenting what's happening on film sets and any type of production process or rehearsals. I love the buzz when many people are focussing on creating this one thing, their story. There's a heightened state of awareness in everyone, lots of energy, emotions, skills. Sometimes it's a bit like a large flock of birds doing their together-flying, machine-like, a large organ setup by many individuals effortlessly repeating their craft and it works..
